Drama at Risør trebådsfestival

Seven 12mR’s including Thea & Vanity V had found their way to the Wooden Boat Festival, held last weekend in Risør Norway. The event turned out to be a bit of a drama, as the website www.seilas.no puts it in their report from the event.

The "drama" refers to the fact that Thea, Vanity V & Sphinx were even on points before the last race and that Thea unfortunately was “cheated” from its winning chances, when it was held down in the start by the Norwegin Vema III, who did get penalized for the maneuver.

German Sphinx was fast and took the first price, with Vanity V second and Thea in third place. The other 12mR at the event were Vema III, Erna-Signe, Magnolia and Raak, all Norwegian owned.
